What To Expect From The 2024 GMC Sierra HD

The 2024 GMC Sierra HD is soon set to arrive with an all-new refresh. This refresh will equip the heavy-duty pickup truck with new styling inside and out. The 2024 Sierra HD will also receive an all-new Denali Ultimate trim. As one of the highest luxury trims, the Denali Ultimate will outfit the pickup truck with premium materials that set the Sierra HD apart from its competitors. As of late, GMC has been updating most of its lineup. The automaker has also been focused on its electrification efforts working towards the GMC Hummer EV. While the Hummer EV will pose a direct challenge to other EV trucks like the F-150 Lightning, the 2024 GMC Sierra HD will rival trucks in its segment. A Look At The 2024 GMC Sierra HD

The 2024 GMC Sierra HD arrives with an all-new refresh. Production of the heavy-duty pickup truck will begin in February 2023. The Sierra HD is expected to arrive with two engine options: a naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 and a Duramax turbodiesel 6.6L V8. The naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 will deliver 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque while the turbodiesel 6.6L V8 will deliver 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft of torque. Both engines will come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2024 GMC Sierra HD will offer owners up to 36,000 pounds of towing capacity. It will also offer advanced trailering technology.

For styling changes, the Sierra HD will see a revised front fascia. The truck’s front grille and bumper will be updated. There will also be new exterior paint options. New trims like the Denali Ultimate will equip the pickup truck with premium styling cues like LED projector headlamps, a signature Denali grille, and GMC badging. The luxury trim will also feature exclusive 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with power-retractable assist steps. An audio system has also been installed in the MultiPro tailgate. 

Inside the heavy-duty pickup truck, owners will find a luxurious alpine umber interior with leather seating and plaited contrast stitching. The Sierra HD also features a 12.3-inch diagonal digital driver display, a 13.4-inch infotainment screen, and a 15-inch head-up display. To enhance its entertainment there’s a 12-speaker Bose audio surround sound system. Drivers will be able to make use of a host of driver-assist and safety features. These include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, forward collision alerts, automatic emergency braking, and more. While pricing has not been confirmed yet, once production begins, more details about the 2024 GMC Sierra HD should be disclosed.
