The 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 is a Top Five Pickup

 As Kelley Blue Book reports, GMC, the specialized subsidiary of GM, broke records in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Research by Kelley Blue Book revealed that GMC ranked fifth in customer consideration for non-luxury vehicles for the first time in its history. According to Cox Automotive, the F-150 ranks first; then it goes to the Chevy Silverado 1500 in second place. In third place was the Honda CR-V, followed by the Dodge Durango in fourth. The GMC Sierra 1500 is part of the top picks for American consumers. 

The F-150 is built with a fully boxed high-strength steel frame and a military-grade aluminum alloy body. It is a truck that can hold up whatever you throw into it. In its recent Q4 2022 Brand Watches report, Kelley Blue Book outlined consumer buying models across various categories and segments.

It should be noted that overall consideration for the GMC brand has reached an all-time high among non-luxury brands. GMC has benefited from an overall increase in luxury vehicle purchases in the fourth quarter, as many of GMC’s products are priced at the premium level and purchased by some luxury buyers. Truck purchases also increased significantly in Q4, benefiting the truck-only brand again, and interest in Hummer products continued to grow, driving additional buying traffic at GMC. GMC was also fueled by interest in the Sierra 1500 full-size pickup truck, the fourth most purchased truck of any size.
