SVE To Offer 2023 GMC Yukon Sport Edition

The 2023 GMC Yukon will be getting a new supercharged tuner package courtesy of Speciality Vehicle Engineering (SVE). Operating as a New Jersey-based tuning company, SVE has been upgrading General Motor vehicles for decades. The 2023 GMC Yukon is the latest GM vehicle to receive an SVE upgrade. The full-size family SUV will receive several upgrades to its performance with supercharged tuning kits. The GMC Yukon XL is also expected to receive similar upgrades. 2023 GMC Yukon & Yukon XL Will Receive Supercharged Upgrades

The 2023 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL will be receiving tuner upgrade packages. These upgrade packages will come courtesy of Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). The New Jersey-based auto tuning company has worked together with General Motors for decades creating powerful vehicles. The latest project is the 2023 GMC Yukon. The family-sized SUV will be receiving two supercharged tuning upgrade kits, one for the base Yukon and another for the Yukon XL.

Courtesy of SVE, the 2023 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL will receive a tuning upgrade kit that pairs with the base 5.3L V8 engine. This kit provides the naturally aspirated 5.3L engine with 700 horsepower. SVE has also provided another tuning upgrade kit for the full-size SUV. This kit pairs with the second engine option, a 6.2L V8. With this engine, owners will enjoy a rating of 800 horsepower.

SVE has included several items in its tuning packages. These include a blueprinted aluminum block, a forged steel crankshaft, a computer-balanced rotating assembly, and forged aluminum pistons. The packages also include upgraded cylinder heads. According to SVE, only 100 units of both the specialty Yukon and Yukon XL will be produced. Those interested in the supercharged family SUV will have the option of a leather seat trim. This will be offered with either black or gray upholstery along with leather inserts and contrast stitching. The SUVs also receive a Sport Edition logo embroidered on the headrests with Sport Edition exterior badging.
