GMC Announces 2024 Hummer EV Production Date

According to GM Authority sources, production of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup will be starting on June 23rd, 2023.

GM Authority has been able to learn when production is to start for this EV Pickup, which is June 23rd, 2023. GM Authority has learned that only the 3X trim level of the 2024 Hummer EV Pickup will be produced at the start of regular production (SORP). GM Authority has retained the 2 and 2X trim levels of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup will not be available at the production start of the 2024 model year. The 2 and 2X trim levels are all-new for the 2024 Hummer EV and include a suite of features and technologies, including GM Ultium battery tech. It offers many of the identical next-level technology as the Hummer EV SUV, however, with even greater available horsepower. This version boasts an available four-wheel steer known as CrabWalk, plus the Adaptive Air Ride Suspension, which could improve the pickup about six inches into Extract Mode. 

This all-electric powered pickup truck produces as much as 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque, making sure it can get out of any jam with natural power. The GM anticipated as much as 350-plus mile range available on the pickup. This electric-powered automobile can go the distance while still having great performance. There are 800V DC rapid public charging stations available that can gain as much as 100 miles of charge in just 10 minutes. The 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup offers as much as 32 inches of water-fording capability, plus almost 16 inches of maximum floor clearance, while Extract Mode is activated via the Adaptive Air Ride Suspension.

Both versions of the GMC Hummer EV, which consist of the Hummer EV Pickup and Hummer EV SUV,  ride on the wide-body variation of the GM BT1 platform and are manufactured at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit, Michigan. An essential update for the 2024 model year is the introduction of the brand-new Omega Edition, a limited-run variation that consists of a completely unique matte paint finish, specific wheels, and some other different bits and pieces.
