2024 GMC Sierra HD Arrives With New Refresh

General Motors (GM) recently unveiled the all-new 2024 GMC Sierra HD. The heavy-duty pickup truck has been refreshed for the new model year with new exterior and interior styling. The Sierra HD will also feature a premium Denali Ultimate trim and an off-road AT4X trim. GM will also provide the pickup with a new diesel engine. While GM has been focused on its EVs like the GMC Hummer SUV, the automaker is still giving due attention to its combustion engine lineup. GM Unveils All-New 2024 GMC Sierra HD 

General Motors (GM) recently debuted the all-new 2024 GMC Sierra HD. The heavy-duty pickup truck is set to arrive with a brand-new refresh both inside and out. The Sierra HD comes with new exterior styling such as a new front bumper, fascia, and grille. The interior also has new styling. The pickup truck will also accompany a new premium Denali Ultimate trim and AT4X off-road trim. Both trims take the 2024 Sierra HD to greater heights with increased luxury and performance. The Denali Ultimate trim focuses solely on luxury with chrome exterior bits and an Alpine umber interior, while the AT4X equips the GMC Sierra with improved off-road capability. 

The 2024 GMC Sierra HD arrives with several engine choices. These include a 6.6L V8 turbodiesel that delivers 470 horsepower and 975lb-ft of torque and a naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 gas engine that offers 401 horsepower and 464lb-ft of torque. Both engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The heavy-duty pickup truck gets 21,900 pounds for towing capacity with the 2500 HD crew cab configuration. The standard 2500 HD configuration increases to 22,500 pounds; with the 3500 HD, the max towing capacity is 36,000 pounds.

Inside the 2024 GMC Sierra HD, owners will find a unique interior cabin. The interior will feature a more premium design like the Denali Ultimate, depending on the trim. Others, like the SLE and SLT, also receive distinct styling. The heavy-duty pickup features new trailering assistance tech and has advanced safety and driver assist features. Those interested in the 2024 GMC Sierra HD can find the pickup truck available in the first quarter of 2023. The AT4X trim will arrive later in 2024. Official pricing for the pickup truck will be released as production nears.
