2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Edition 1 Sells Out Almost Immediately

The all-new 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Edition 1 sold out immediately after its release. GMC recently updated the third-generation GMC Canyon with a new redesign. Along with the redesign, the mid-size pickup truck saw upgrades to its powertrain and a brand-new trim, the AT4X. This trim equips the Canyon with rugged hardware and advanced features, making it a perfect choice for those wanting off-road capability. GMC Canyon Limited Edition Off-Road Trim Sold Out

The 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Edition 1 sold out upon its release. The third-generation mid-size pickup truck recently saw an all-new redesign that updated its interior and exterior. The 2023 Canyon also saw powertrain improvements and, of course, the release of the new AT4X trim. The Edition 1 version comes as an exclusive version of the off-road trim, and according to GM vice president Duncan Aldred, the truck sold out in just 10 minutes. It features all the capabilities of the base AT4X trim, but it includes extra cameras, an integrated winch, bumpers, and more.

For its engine choices, the third-generation pickup truck sees a turbocharged 2.7L inline-four engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. This turbo engine also gives the 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X 5,500 pounds of towing capacity. The off-road pickup truck also offers 10.7 inches of ground clearance and a 36.9-degree approach angle. For equipment, the AT4X trim sees 33-inch mud-terrain tires, Multimatic spool-valve dampers, and locking front/rear differentials. There are also underbody skid plates and a larger transfer case shield. Owners can use drive modes like off-road and Baja to tackle off-road terrain. modes. 

Inside the pickup truck, owners will find a completely redesigned cabin. The AT4X trim features an Obsidian Rush interior, and there’s a new digital gauge cluster for technology. There’s also an 11-inch diagonal driver display screen and an 11.3-inch infotainment screen. It is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and can use unique features like an off-road performance system. The AT4X trim can utilize this system, as well as a 6.3-inch head-up display and a 10-view camera system. The 2023 GMC Canyon AT4X trim starts at an MSRP of 64,795 (plus destination fee).
